~**HAPPY HOLIDAYS**~
Wow, I haven’t been blogging for quite some time. Happy to be back at it and share what’s going on in the life of Emma! :)
Where to even begin?! Life is pretty darn good. Shaun and I just celebrated three years together, which I think is pretty fantastic. He is my best friend and I don’t know what I would do without him in my life. Crazy to think how quickly time has flown by...seems not that long ago we started dating. We are living down in Crescent Bar again until May. Shaun will be pre-approved in March, and if we find the right place we can close by May 1st, so we will see how all that goes! I never realized how stressful this home buying process could be. I guess stressful isn't the best word to use...I'd say more uneasy because there is so much to think about when looking at properties...it's a HUGE commitment.
Work…let’s see. I am still working at McGlinn’s, but usually only on Fridays. I am also working at the detention center in Ephrata, but that has not been going as I expected it to go. I do not work enough, so I have been looking for other options here in the Columbia Basin. I recently applied for a job at a bank here in Quincy, had a phone interview last week, and just got a call this morning for a face-to-face interview on Friday! The position is full time, benefits, and all that jazz, so I am crossing my fingers it works out. I will then have the freedom to leave my other part time jobs. I never want to lose my job at McGlinn’s, so that will be one I want to keep, but I will have to give up my Friday shift and probably just be “on call”. The bank position is Monday through Friday 8:30-5:15. It would be so amazing to have a job that goes on the same schedule as Shaun’s so we can spend more time together!
I left off with AdvoCare last time, I had AMAZING results from my 24-Day Challenge, and since then I have continued to use the products (just not as many as I did on the challenge). The challenge is a “kick start” to a new way of life. It was definitely that and much more for me. I not only saw instant results in my body, but my overall well being. I’m a happier person and continuing to lose weight and feel better about myself. I just finished the 10 day cleanse and feel great! I didn’t continue with the entire 24-day challenge, but I’ve been incorporating meal replacement shakes, catalyst, thermoplus, and the MNS formula every day.
I have not only found results with using product, but in my income as well. AdvoCare has so much to offer in other ways. I see a bright future in this company and I am grateful every day for my sponsor, Autumn, who introduced AdvoCare to me. My life will never be the same. There is no better feeling in the world than working with my friends and family and helping them feel better. When I look at my future, I see a family, I see Shaun, and I see a way to ensure my babies get their mamma at home with them. AdvoCare has given me that motivation and hope for the future to come. I am headed to Dallas in February for Success School, and I couldn’t be more excited! There is so much to learn still about the company, and about myself! From there, one of my best friend’s is picking me up and driving me to San Antonio to spend a few days with her. I’ve never been to Texas so this is going to be an amazing trip.
I’m having a mixer tonight, and the turnout is going to be great! I’ve got some friends coming to learn more and I hope I can help them achieve all their goals with the help of AdvoCare. After the mixer we are going to go out to eat in Wenatchee somewhere…! Shaun can’t make it because he has a million things to do around here tonight, I’m bummed-but he will be at my other events! On the phone today we were just talking about how nice it will be when we have our own “home” and nice space to host gatherings with our friends and families. The condo we are in now is pretty cramped, and because it is fully furnished-it’s just not our style-and it kind of smells like old people, so we have candles lit all the time, haha! Other than that, we embrace each adventure because it will all be worth it when we find our first home.
On Thursday (depending on weather) I will be heading over to Seattle to host a mixer! I have several people attending and it is going to be so much fun! Shaun’s parents are even going to try and come up from South Bend (depending on weather!) :) Wintertime is so hard, but I want to reach out to people before the New Year. There is no point in saying “On January 1st, I am going to change my routine.” That just doesn’t work (from personal experience)…we have tools to use during the holidays to help with “damage control”! Seriously, you don’t have to be perfect, because none of us are…but I always shoot to be 80% on, and that has helped me continue to have results.
The WRAC in Wenatchee is starting another “Biggest Loser” competition in January and I am signing up on Thursday! I don’t consider myself “obese” or anything like that, but I still have some goals to reach—I’m almost to my goal weight, but from there I have some sculpting I want to do! It is a six week challenge that is designed to help you reach all your weight loss goals through nutritional guidance, weekly group workouts, weekly ‘last chance workouts’, weekly weigh-ins, team challenges, accountability, food tracking, personal training discounts, and a free t-shirt! Each coach has a team of 15 participants, and there are five teams. :) My best friend finished the same challenge recently and had AMAZING results. She is doing it again with me! I missed out on the last one because it started right when I had all my gall bladder issues.
A long-term goal of mine is to become a certified Yoga instructor in order to dive deeper into the practice. I love yoga, and it has completely changed my life. I want to go where some people I know have gone in Costa Rica to get certified…just need figure out when I can make it happen in the next year or two!
Sorry for the super long update, but it has been so long since I have updated this page, and I want to get back at it!
Life is FREAKING good. <3
Love to you all.
